PRIMARY DETAILAn exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant research initiative focused on eliminating gendered violence through Indigenous-centred, interdisciplinary, and evidence-based approaches.ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Salary Package: From $111,643 - $121,045 per annum (HEW 7) plus superannuation & annual leave loading.Full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointment until December 2030.Location: Based at Macquarie University Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde, New South Wales.About the RoleMacquarie University is seeking a collaborative and highly organised Research & Ethics Training Program Coordinator to support the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW).Working closely with the CEVAW Deputy Director (Indigenous), this role will coordinate the delivery and ongoing development of the Research & Ethics Training Program, supporting researchers, students, and stakeholders across CEVAW's national and international network.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally significant research centre committed to advancing inclusive research methodologies, ethical practice, and future leadership in the gendered violence research field.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating and supporting the delivery of the Research & Ethics Training Program.Maintaining detailed enrolment and completion records.Contributing to the publication of program findings and innovations; and ensuring effective marketing, publicity, and liaison with academics, students, Chief Investigators (CIs), Deputy Directors (DDs), and the CEVAW operations team to support the success of the Program.Building relationships with experts across relevant fields to facilitate Masterclasses.Organising annual events that foster industry and community partnerships and reciprocal mentoring budgeting, financial record keeping, and reconciliation to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Program.About You (Selection Criteria)You will be a relationship-focused and culturally capable professional with demonstrated experience working collaboratively with Indigenous researchers, students, staff, and communities.You will also bring:Experience within the tertiary education sector,Ability to build relationships with Indigenous peoples andcommunities both nationally and internationally,Demonstrated ability to manage financial and physical resources,Demonstrated ability to plan at both strategic and operational levels with organisational skills to ensure the delivery and implementation of the Research & Ethics Training Program and projects,Demonstrated ability to develop content for training or educational purposes,Proven ability to work collaboratively, diplomatically, and effectively with Indigenous researchers, students and staff in an organisational setting,Highly developed conceptual, analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions,Highly developed written and verbal communications skills,Ability to design and create promotional materials (e.g. Canva), andStrong and sensitive negotiation skills, and ability to navigateintercultural contexts and communication are highly desired.Specific RequirementsAbility to travel interstate and internationallyAbout UsThe Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) is the world's first Centre dedicated to addressing the full spectrum of violence against women across Australia and the Indo-Pacific region.CEVAW brings together leading researchers, institutions, and partner organisations to develop innovative, evidence-based approaches that drive meaningful systems change.
