About The Opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
Providing a wide range of support to the classroom teacher or teacher librarian to effectively manage their availability, schedules, and appointmentsUsing various software applications to effectively process and maintain accurate records, draft, update, and format standard documents, and handle sensitive information with discretion under the direction of senior team membersResponding to enquiries ensuring accurate and relevant information is provided in a timely manner, resolving any concerns or issues that may arise, and recording relevant correspondence according to set processes and proceduresAssisting in the development, maintenance and operations of systems and databases recommending improvements as necessary within routine methods and proceduresHelping to establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases.
About You
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Strong organisational skills to manage schedules and appointments for teachers or teacher librariansDemonstrated library experience with an ongoing commitment to professional developmentEnthusiastic and approachable personality with high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levelsExperience with Oliver library software is desirableProficiency in software applications for record-keeping, document drafting, and handling sensitive informationEffective communication skills to respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptlyExperience helping to develop, maintain, and improve systems and databasesKnowledge of filing and records management systems, including registers and databasesProficiency in MS Office suite, and other software in common use for libraries and educationFor this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointmentHold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
