Job Opportunity
This role is an opportunity for experienced Supervisors to join the project delivery team in the Byford region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring their part of the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Monitor your section or package of work to ensure timely delivery
* Supervise a work team to achieve project outcomes
* Identify and assist with resource acquisition to ensure adequate supplies and labor hire are available
* Assist the project management team in developing and implementing process improvements that add value to operations
* Conduct daily safety checks and maintain a safe worksite environment
* Attend investigations of accidents and incidents within your area of responsibility
* Participate in site meetings and provide guidance and mentorship to team members
* Manage sub-contractors and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a civil construction supervisory position
* Ability to manage labour crews and heavy plant equipment
* Experience in managing interface with other subcontractors and project teams
* Relevant trade background or qualifications
* MRWA experience is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
* Able to travel to Byford daily and work flexible hours
* Commitment to maintaining high-quality work and adhering to safety standards
