About the Role
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing one‐to‐one and small group sports to students in out‐of‐home care
* Assisting with differentiated learning tasks and implement individual learning or support plans
* Supporting students' social, emotional, behavioural and personal care needs
* Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supporting learning environment
* Using a trauma informed approach when working with students
This role would suit a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for trauma informed practice and a commitment to support students with diverse needs.
About You
* Experience working with students with trauma backgrounds or in an educational support role
* Solid interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students and families
* Patience, empathy and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
* Ability to assist with student needs as required
* Relevant training or qualifications in education support or a related field
