Day-to-Day Role Overview
* Provide exceptional customer service and memorable interactions with customers and inspire them on the best care and products for their pets.
* Through knowledge gained, educate customers on pet care and products, aiming to reach set store sales goals and complete memorable sales transactions.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the store looks its best at all times, with the latest stock on shelves, and proactively keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services provided.
* Contribute to a fun, supportive culture in-store where the team loves coming to work every day.
* Host puppy school classes on weekends, providing expertise and taking more care of pet customers and their families.
Key requirements include:
* A genuine passion for animals and delivering excellent customer service.
* Experience in a similar retail environment.
* Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues.
* Physical fitness to lift products up to 20kgs.
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays - Training and upskilling will be provided to prepare for a role as a puppy school teacher.
