This is a Contract Administrator role with Visy based in Mount Warren Park, QLD, AU Visy Role Seniority - mid level More about the Contract Administrator role at Visy We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to support this landmark project on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based onsite in Yatala, you’ll work directly for the principal contractor within our Commercial team, liaising with both on-site subcontractors and international suppliers to ensure all contractual obligations are met and project milestones are achieved. Your role will include Collaborating closely with Visy Procurement to manage contract documentation and handovers post-tender Maintaining detailed contracts registers and records Building strong relationships with subcontractors and fostering a collaborative project environment Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all contract terms and deliverables Monitor all correspondence in the document control system, following up with the various team members responsible for responses to ensure contract timeframes are maintained Preparing Contracts Administration Plans and ensuring all legislative and commercial requirements are understood and followed Managing contract variations, timelines, and payment claims under the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) Supporting project engineers and managers in commercial matters, including SAP transactions and vendor management Attending and contributing to project meetings with internal and external stakeholders What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying or similar Experience as a Contracts Administrator on complex, multidisciplinary projects Strong understanding of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Adobe Pro, and document control systems Experience with project tools such as SAP, SharePoint, Aconex, Asite, or Commnia Key attributes Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Sharp analytical thinking with attention to detail A collaborative and proactive approach to contract management Determination to drive contractual outcomes and meet tight deadlines If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in our Build, Run & Repair business, apply now or contact Olivia Winter on 0421 221 211 for a confidential discussion.
