Theatre Operations Manager
Responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of services in Operating Theatres, ICU and Burns Unit, adhering to Queensland Health guidelines.
Leads a large team across multiple classifications, focusing on performance management, employee recognition, and skill development.
* Develops and implements training programs for Theatre Support Officers and new trainees, covering patient handling, infection control, cleaning standards, and fire safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage theatre operations to ensure seamless patient care and timely completion of procedures.
* Lead a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to implement quality improvements and best practices.
* Identify and address areas for improvement in theatre operations, developing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in theatre operations management or a related field.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of Queensland Health guidelines and regulations.
