A bit about the role:
The role of a Trainee is interesting and varied and provides a great foundation to business processes and experience in many areas of how a local council operates. A core part of this role is to prepare, collate, record and maintain information relating to council business and support our Roads and Drainage Team to deliver their outcomes.
In a trainee, we look for:
* Good communication skills
* Someone who enjoys working on a computer
* Good organisation skills and attention to detail
What you can learn:
* Assist in the preparation of documents
* Create, input and retrieve data using MS Office
* Operator office equipment
* Update and maintain databases
* Assist coordination of outdoor and indoor team
About the role
A Trainee Administration Officer is full time employment for two (2) years, and the proposed study will be a Certificate IV in Business Administration.
Fixed term: 70-hour fortnight (Term Contract - 2 years)
Salary: Based on the Local Government Award + 12% super
