Operational Plant Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the start up and shut down of the station, including inspecting, recording, notifying, and reporting on the condition of all outside plant, boiler and auxiliary plant, temperatures, pressures, and bin levels.
In addition, the applicant will be required to check lubricant levels and carry out lubrication duties, operate the feedwater treatment system, collect and analyze water samples, assist with clearing choked feeders, hoppers, and chutes, and monitor/operate ash systems, associated equipment, furnaces, grates, and ash sluices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A 'C' class drivers license
* Ability to obtain or already have the following tickets: Turbine ticket, Boiler ticket, Doggers ticket, Mobile crane non-slewing, Front End loader, Forklift
