This is a part-time role (approximately 24 hours per week), with flexible scheduling so hours can be arranged across the week to suit the successful candidate (e.g. shorter days over more days, or longer days over fewer days).
Typical duties for the role include:
* Ongoing review and improvement of compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance compliance practices.
* Preparing reports for the Board, management and Compliance & Risk Committee.
* Contributing to Risk and Control Self-Assessments, line 2 supervision, and internal audits.
* Monitoring of regulatory change and assisting in development and delivery of regulatory change projects.
* Assisting with licensing registrations, renewals and submissions.
* Assisting with regulatory notifications and requests.
* Investigation and reporting of compliance incidents.
* Development and delivery of compliance training to staff.
About you:
* At least 3 years' experience in risk and/or compliance, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Ability to identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks, with a proactive approach to regulatory change.
* Ability to prioritise and work with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills.
