Lifestyle Assistant Role
We are seeking a part-time or full-time Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Infinite Care. This role is pivotal to the wellbeing and engagement of our residents and requires an upbeat and fun-loving individual to bring our resident-centric lifestyle programs to life.
This position reports to the Facility Manager with supervision from our Lifestyle Coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate, implement and roll out lifestyle programs, assist in developing programs and provide input during resident care assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and implement lifestyle programs and assess resident engagement and enjoyment
* Assist the Lifestyle Coordinator in developing lifestyle programs
* Cater for all aspects of residents' home environment, including social, religious and cultural requirements
* Provide input during resident care assessments to enable individualized, holistic, resident-centric programs
* Organize facility communications and celebrations, such as birthdays and Christmas
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families and facility team members
* Manage and document risk for the facility and ensure commitment to continuous improvements
You Will Offer:
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed 1st year nursing studies
* Experience in a similar role across lifestyle or personal care (assistance in nursing)
* Innate empathy for our residents and commitment to continually improving quality of care and social environment
* Ability to think on your feet and possess IT and tech-savvy skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Thoughtful, compassionate, collaborative, fun and positive approach with creative flair
* Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to apply)
