The Opportunity
At Cleanaway, we're driven by a simple purpose: to make a sustainable future possible. To achieve this, we need exceptional leaders who know how to empower teams and deliver results. We're now seeking a Field Sales Manager to join our Oils and Technical Services team.

You'll lead and develop a QLD-based Field Sales team of seven, focusing on performance coaching, talent growth, and positioning us as a partner of choice. You'll also collaborate closely with operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive profitable growth through retention, share-of-wallet expansion, and disciplined pipeline management.
* Coach and develop salespeople to engage confidently with operational, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
* Oversee forecasting and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and informed decision-making through data and CRM insights.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technical specialists, pricing, and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
* Embed safety, compliance, and risk management principles into sales behaviours.
* Lift sales capability and performance by operating in the field and spending time with customers alongside your team.
* Manage and grow a customer portfolio, driving strategic sales outcomes.
* Support bids and tenders, leveraging commercial insight to secure long-term contracts.

With a proven track record of leading high-performing sales or operations teams, you thrive in fast-paced environments and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves. Tenacious and data-driven, you're always looking for ways to grow—both your people and the business. Confident, collaborative, and commercially savvy, you lead with purpose and never lose sight of the bigger picture.

What We're Looking For

* Strong ability to translate technical services and risk-based solutions into clear customer value propositions.
* Proven leadership experience managing field-based, technically focused sales teams in complex, regulated environments.
* Commercial acumen with a track record of balancing revenue growth, margin discipline, and long-term customer outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing internally and externally across varied customer segments.
* Deep understanding of safety, compliance, and risk management, with the ability to embed these principles into sales behaviours.
* Experience leading teams through change, scaling structures, or uplifting capability within evolving sales models.
