**SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED - SOUTHERN AREA**
Balance Home Services is a NDIS registered agency and have clients in all suburbs of the Adelaide Metropolitan, Regional and Hills areas.
**We are currently seeking 4-5 new support workers for clients in MORPHETT VALE and surrounding suburbs for an immediate start.**
**Criteria includes**: Experience supporting complex clients. Qualifications in Medication Administration, PEG Feeding, Bowel Care and Mental Health are all highly regarded. Exceptional reliability and commitment is essential. **You must live in the southern suburbs to be eligible.**
**Rosters may include**:days, afternoons & evenings and active & passive overnight shifts.

You may be working with people with high level disability including physical and intellectual disability and or brain injury and mental health disorders.
You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as in a small team and must be able to empathise with clients and meet their needs. Our staff may also need to be a companion or escort and transport clients to appointments or to community events.
- Experience in Aged or Child Care or Disability care.
- Cert III in Aged Care/Disability/Childcare or, other higher or equivalent qualification.
- **NDIS Worker Check **(Valid 5yrs) or,
- **DHS Disability Services Employment screening **(Valid 3yrs) or,
- **DHS Working with Children Check **(Valid 5yrs). If issued after 01/02/2021 the NDSIS Worker Check is also required.
- Provide First Aid HLTAID003 or HLTAID004 or HLTAID011.
- Manual Handling - in relation caring for people in the community.
- A Driver's License and your own clean and road worthy car.
- Accurate record keeping skills.
- Excellent communication - Must understand and speak fluent English, written and verbal.
- 2 work-related referees.
- Must be prepared to accept a variety of 2hrs shifts as part of your regular roster.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Physically fit for the tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and make good decisions.
- Good time management.
