About the OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for highly experienced Training Governance Manager to join our aerospace function based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. In this key role, you'll ensure RTO compliance with the VET Quality Framework, lead governance and quality assurance, and drive strong stakeholder engagement to support workforce capability and business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

* Ensure full RTO compliance with national standards, policies, audits, and regulatory reporting.
* Lead governance of training operations, maintaining accurate records and audit-ready systems.
* Advise senior leadership on compliance risks, performance trends, and continuous improvement.
* Build strong partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders.
* Oversee training quality—validating competencies, monitoring learner outcomes, and assessing instructors.
* Drive strategic training initiatives, support tenders, and uplift organisational capability through VET expertise.

About YOU

* 10+ years' experience in the training industry with a strong background in learning design, facilitation, and review.
* Proven leadership in RTO governance and change management, with the ability to influence across functions and non-direct reports.
* Skilled in using or learning Student Management Systems such as VETtrak and Moodle, with a systems-based approach to learning (ADDIE/SADL).
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (essential), with further qualifications in Training & Assessment or tertiary education (desirable).
* Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and deliver outcomes under competing priorities.
* Confident in leading cross-functional teams, applying initiative, and using MS Office tools to support training and compliance delivery.
