**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The role of FCL Operations Coordinator is required through growth in the business. Working alongside the business owner with a focus on FCL wharf cartage. Dealing with suppliers, transport companies and the wharf coordinating slots and driver allocations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise are the key traits to succeed.
**DUTIES**
- Schedule and coordinate transport contractors
- Ensure files are processed for collection to minimise delay and penalties
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure all movements are collected and delivered as scheduled
- Prioritise and shuffle drivers' schedules to fit an ever-changing delivery schedule
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in wharf cartage required
- 4+ years experience working in a transport team essential
- An understanding of the shipping process for FCL and time slotting
- Exposure to KPIs and tangible targets
