Geological Resources Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled geological resources specialist to assist in the implementation and execution of geological tasks related to ore delineation and underground mine activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and practical knowledge in mining and/or exploration geology and resource modelling of narrow vein style gold deposits. They will also have competency in the use of modelling, geostatistics and estimation software (Datamine and Leapfrog) and proven competency in orebody interpretation, wireframing, and modelling estimation methodologies.
This role requires close collaboration with drilling geologists and senior mine geologists to ensure drilling and mapping are planned and scheduled to meet operational and corporate reserve deadlines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing project areas to identify resource extension opportunities and additional resources, as well as interpreting and validating geology and assay value results to guarantee integrity and reliability of the geological database.
