What we are looking for:
* Degree level qualifications in the field of communications, marketing, media or community engagement, or demonstrated relevant industry experience in a similar position.
* Extensive experience in community engagement practices, events, marketing and promotional activities.
* Experience in a similar position in local government or multi-disciplinary environment with a proven ability to advise management and stakeholders on strategic engagement direction, emerging issues, and risk mitigation.
* Exceptional leadership, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, challenge and engage stakeholders and teams, internally and externally.
* Demonstrated leadership, judgement, and initiative in managing people and priorities under limited direction.
* Current Qld driver's licence and current holder of Qld Positive Notice Blue Card – Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
