The Role 
An integral member of the Assets team reporting directly into the National Asset Manager, the Fleet manager will oversee the profitability, performance and utilisation of our fleet. 
Your analytical skills will help you to achieve this through regular asset analysis with key stakeholders, whilst establishing robust action plans to address underperforming assets. 
Your ability to nurture relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Adaptalift group will be essential to your success in the role. The successful applicant will also have excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills. 
What you'll be responsible for 
Develop key reporting metrics to identify underperforming and low utilisation assets 
Consult with key business stakeholders to develop fleet action plans that will increase utilisation and financial performance of the fleet 
Develop key reporting metrics to identify excessive use of contracted assets by product category 
Chair monthly fleet reviews and present recommendations/action plans on underperforming/low margin assets 
Deliver guidance to key stakeholders on problematic sites or assets requiring regular stand-in equipment 
Assess and make recommendations on Capital Improvement requests 
Identify and report on key fleet market trends 
A little bit about you 
Proven experience in fleet management and/or a clear understanding of how a large-scale fleet operation functions 
An analytical mindset -The use of data in this role is critical 
A motivated, confident and self-managed approach to leading the fleet function 
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders of all levels 
Experience/exposure in financial management of Fleet, Plant & Equipment 
Mechanical trade or qualification (preferred) 
Qualifications in asset lifecycle management (preferred)
