For Diesel Mechanics and Workshop Technicians to provide comprehensive repairs for a mechanical workshop client. A Permanent Full Time position within a well-established automotive service provider.
* Requires: Essential qualifications in diesel mechanics, with experience in diagnosing and repairing systems.
* Salary guide: $45 to $50 per hour depending on experience.
Your normal day will involve:
* Starting your shift at 7:30 AM and working through to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with minimal weekend work except for emergencies.
* Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems on a variety of commercial vehicles.
* Providing comprehensive repairs on trucks, trailers, and any associated plant and equipment without the need to outsource to other providers.
* Engaging in servicing and maintenance to keep commercial vehicles roadworthy and safe.
* Collaborating with a small, focused team committed to quality workmanship and customer service.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and reliability of commercial vehicles while working in a supportive environment that values quality and teamwork.
