What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Support the day-to-day operations of our business
2. Oversee sales and inventory across a diverse product range, including agricultural chemicals, fertilisers, and other merchandise
3. Collaborate with store management, agronomists, and sales team to provide merchandise support - such as stocktakes, retail process improvements, on-farm meetings, technical guidance, and mentoring to drive performance
4. Negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, and manage stock levels effectively
5. Implement marketing initiatives to maintain a competitive position across all product lines
6. Monitor and analyse market trends, seasonal conditions, and climatic factors to inform business decisions
What You'll Bring:
To be successful, you will ideally have a strong technical background with experience in a similar role. In addition, you will demonstrate:
7. Experience within pricing and margin management and sales target achievement through effective category development
8. Ability to network and identify opportunities for business development
9. Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships
10. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
11. Exposure to SAP ERP, together with strong MS Excel for reporting
12. Current Drivers Licence (Essential)
13. Forklift and heavy rigid licence (Desirable)
