Position Overview
We're looking for a HSE Systems and Change Manager to join our Snowy 2.0 project team, overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of the project's Health, Safety, and Workplace management systems with a safety‐different approach. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead change initiatives, optimise processes, and ensure the project's compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and facilitate change management processes related to HSE initiatives and improvements.
* Regularly review and update HSE policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Coaching, mentoring, and practical implementation of Risk Management processes.
* Ensure Safety Alerts and final investigation learnings alerts are distributed efficiently.
* Ensure the project's compliance with all applicable HSE laws and regulations.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and education ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental objectives and deliverables are achieved.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (essential).
* Proven experience in HSE management, change management, and process improvement.
* In‐depth knowledge of HSE legislation, regulations, and standards.
* ICAM lead investigation qualification and experience (essential).
* Demonstrated experience in developing high‐performance work teams.
* Experience in HSE Management System review and implementation, including behavioural‐based conversations and initiatives and consultation processes.
* Risk Management expertise including experience with Bow Tie development and Major Hazards program implementation.
