Regional Manager, Workforce Staffing at Amazon .
The role focuses on leading country wide staffing and high-volume hiring events for our Customer Fulfillment & Delivery Services teams.
It includes managing associate labor delivery through direct and vendor channels, daily vendor management, community engagement, and supporting labor demand planning with Finance and Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities Partner with business operations and finance regional leaders to align labor strategy, plans and mitigate risk due to labor fulfillment.
Determine hiring strategy with the country, considering local market conditions and cost per hire.
Source recruits through multiple channels, keeping current on trends for high-volume hiring.
Interpret sourcing data to suggest viability of sourcing strategy and improvements.
Audit and evaluate rate cards by role/skill to ensure parity.
Challenge commercial contract terms and partner with Procurement/Legal to redraft contracts as needed.
Examine and establish causes of adverse trends in metrics, conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions.
Vendor manage labor suppliers and associated KPIs, delivery of standard work and forecasting.
Partner with Workforce Staffing leadership to support community groups for grassroots sourcing.
Lead process improvement initiatives, collaborating with Product/Program Management on tech enablement and automation.
Travel Must be able to travel locally up to 25% of time to conduct events within the assigned geographical area.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
Experience with workforce planning.
Experience in technical support work, engineering, or an operations environment.
Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.
Experience in vendor management.
Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation.
Experience developing policies and supporting documentation.
Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
Financial planning or commercial analyst experience.
