Purpose of Position
Scaffolders are important members of the GHS Solutions team, erecting scaffolds to meet customer requirements in accordance with Australian Standards. All members share a responsibility in keeping themselves and all employees safe from harm.
Geographical Coverage
Servicing the Midwest region, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Erection and dismantle of scaffolding in a timely manner as instructed and to Australian Standards.
* Assist to prepare and plan for scaffolding activities.
* Carry out Scaffold Inspection Checklists for each job.
* Maintain accurate documentation associated with each job.
* Act with integrity, honesty and ethically at all times.
* Proactively engage to create a safer workplace.
Role Specific Competencies
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Competent in the erection and dismantle of scaffolding.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol tests.
License Requirements
* Construction Industry White Card (essential)
* MSIC Licence (essential, or ability to obtain)
* Worksafe WA High Risk Licence – Advanced, Intermediate or Basic Scaffolding (essential)
* Current Working at Heights (essential)Current National Police Clearance (essential)
* Worksafe WA High Risk Licence – Forklift (preferred)
* Driver's Licence – Truck Licence (preferred)
* Current Confined Space (preferred)
