We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in heavy civil engineering to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of complex construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute heavy civil engineering projects.
* Conduct site surveys, investigations, and assessments to gather essential data and ensure project feasibility.
* Prepare and review project plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with design requirements, codes, and regulations.
* Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including earthworks, foundation construction, structural installations, and roadworks.
* Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain project schedule and budget.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
Requirements
* Experience in heavy civil engineering construction projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, and processes.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
