As an Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will:
* Support all the maintenance and operational activities by assisting with the action plans associated with continuous improvement
* Assist to monitor and manage data to achieve optimum equipment production and performance, whilst operating within the safety and design parameters of the equipment
* Ensure all Contractor & Principal mandatory requirements in reference to Site Inductions, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are understood and implemented
* Ensure Maintenance Strategy is implemented, adhered to, reviewed and maintained
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
* Ensure all hazards, risks and incidents are identified and investigated
* Manage and communicate all aspects of warranty relative to the principal's fleet in accordance with Caterpillar's and the Clients procedures
* Identify repetitive product problem and implement solutions
* Maintain WIP to acceptable levels and within the company KPI's for Cash Flow
* Provide high-quality, cost-effective service which exceeds customer expectations and minimizes customer complaints
* Responsible for actioning and determining performance management strategies when required
* Actively drive and promote business growth
About You
A successful teammate will have the following:
* Previous supervisory experience on a mine site
* Experience managing and maintaining a fleet of equipment
* A trade qualification and experience in Mechanical or Diesel Fitting, or a similar field (Cert III Engineering)
* Well-developed communication and customer service skills
* The ability to manage and lead a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
* A continuous improvement commitment and positive attitude
* The ability to both provide and receive feedback from and to team members
* Previous experience with CAT gear highly desirable
