At an exciting stage of growth, the company is seeking an Account Manager to:
* Manage customer accounts,
* Coordinate pricing between customers and suppliers
* Provide technical and marketing support,
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with both customers and principals.
What they are looking for:
* Proven Industry experience and a track record of sales within the Industrial chemical market.
* Ability to expand sales of existing products to existing customers.
* Ability to actively prospect, develop and expand sales of products to new customers.
* Ability to quickly establish and build sound relationships with both customers and principals.
* Experience handling multinational accounts
* Ability to provide a high level of technical service to the customer base
* Ability to manage the allocated products portfolio including responsibility for profitability, stock and working capital management, forecasting, principal/supplier liaison and marketing mix aspects.
* The resilience and confidence necessary to work in a competitive business environment.
* Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.
Experience
* 2-3 years related experience.
* Supervisory or Management Experience Not required.
Education
* Tertiary Degree and/or professional experience in field.
* Professional Training and/or Certification
* Relevant technical and sales background as well as market experience.
* Good understanding of the food markets.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong commercial and presentation skills
* Great attention to detail
* Able to travel interstate and occasionally overseas
