Our client is one of the worlds largest global supplier of transport and logistics, and are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator - Freight Forwarding person.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Operator (Freight Forwarding) is responsible for ensuring goods are received/dispatched.
Further tasks include:_
Interpret information contained on picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders.
Unloading/loading of vehicles and movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks.
Loading and unloading of containers
Checking in Freight
Building of ULDs
Enforce DSV Environment Policy and Procedures.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 Years' experience in a similar position
Knowledge and experience in a similar role within Freight Forwarding
Current Forklift license
Experience on a Linde branded forklift is advantageous
OHS focused
DG experience is advantageous
Availability to work weekend (approximately 1 Sunday per month)
