As a member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the secure and reliable operation of South Australia's high-voltage transmission network based in Adelaide.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a significant impact on the reliability and efficiency of our power system. As a senior member of the team, you will lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members.
Contribute to strategic planning and operational priorities.
Provide expert advice on system security and network performance.
Collaborate with AEMO and internal teams to establish network limits and contingency plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in an engineering-related role or 7 years in an operational role within the electricity industry.
Proven technical leadership ability to influence and mentor others.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive improvements and change.
Demonstrated capability in asset rating maintenance and interpreting stakeholder requirements.
