This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership and key operational teams, providing commercially focused legal support across leasing, property and financial matters.
The role
Reporting to senior leadership team this role will provide legal advice across a national portfolio of assets whilst working with both property and finance teams to maintain legal frameworks and support operational performance.
You will:
* Draft, review and negotiate commercial and retail leases
* Manage licences and disclosure statements across multiple states
* Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders
* Support leasing outcomes and operational decisions
* Ensure compliance with relevant state's leasing legislation
* Manage legal debt recovery and enforcement matters
* Support the business with risk management, dispute resolution & financial recovery strategies
About You:
* Admitted Australian Legal Practitioner with a current practising certificate
* 5+ years post-admission experience in commercial property law, civil litigation and/or debt recovery
* Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or retail leases
* Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, legal advice
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters and statutory deadlines independently
