Electronics Systems Development Position
This is a full-time role focused on creating, supporting, and enhancing electronic systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and implementing new electronics technologies and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electronic circuits and software ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards.
* Manage electronics projects from concept to completion meeting timelines and cost objectives.
* Analyse product failures prioritise improvements and implement continuous enhancements to maintain product reliability and quality.
* Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities for electronics in collaboration with purchasing teams.
* Provide essential electronics support across various departments including purchasing production service and sales.
* Influence and drive future electronics and software development by providing feedback participating in design reviews and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
* Proficiency with associated CAD packages Altium experience is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and production testing processes.
* Experience with software code for embedded applications written in C.
* Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing circuits.
* Knowledge of electronic component failure modes and EMC design techniques and testing.
* Working knowledge of electrical and product safety standards.
* Outgoing highly motivated self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and desire to achieve measurable results.
* Strong communication interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Excellent analytical and research abilities.
* Results-oriented mindset with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
