Sodexo has a unique role available for a Soft Services Systems Administrator Lead to join our team in Balcatta in a full-time, permanent role.
The Soft Services Systems Administrator Lead will be the driving force behind the seamless delivery of system development projects that support FIFO village operations. This role is crucial in designing, managing, and continuously enhancing Project Management Framework systems that enable resource planning, contractor management, and quality assurance—ultimately empowering the Soft Services team to deliver operational excellence at scale.
This role requires a flexible approach, including occasional travel to FIFO villages and remote sites on an ad-hoc basis.
Role responsibilities will include:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Soft Services systems and processes, enabling delivery of a larger portfolio with existing resources.
- Collaborate with Senior Project Lead and Program Manager to strategically plan and allocate resources, ensuring optimal scheduling and workload balance.
User-Centric Technical Support
- Serve as the go-to technical expert for Qartex, RMS, MS Office, MS-D365, and related reporting tools—providing training, troubleshooting, and proactive support.
- Develop and deliver engaging training workshops to boost user competence and adoption of accommodation management systems.
Quality Assurance & Audit
- Design and implement internal audit processes to evaluate the effectiveness and utilization of Accommodation Management System Frameworks and operational protocols.
- Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and lead cross-functional problem-solving to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Security & Compliance
- Maintain and enforce IT security protocols including access controls, firewalls, and data protection measures. Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate key stakeholder meetings to ensure clear communication, alignment, and timely delivery of project milestones. Build strong relationships with operational teams, IT professionals, and leadership through empathetic, transparent, and effective communication.
What we are looking for
- Experience managing FIFO scheduling tools including flight manifesting, bookings, and onboarding systems (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience supporting FIFO remote village accommodation operations, with strong familiarity of logistics, rostering, transport, and cleaning management systems
- Background in vendor and contractor coordination within FIFO environments (desirable)
- Robust familiarity of logistics, rostering, transport, and cleaning management systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Expertise with Quartex Suite and Office D365 products
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
- Solid administrative and documentation skills, with a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
