This role will support the Logicalis Private Cloud environment, which operates from two data centres within Victoria, and includes:* IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)* DPaaS (Data Protection as a Service); and* DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service).The IaaS environment is built on the VMware stack—including vCenter, vCloud Director, ESXi, Log Insights, Network Insights, and Operations Manager—and is supported by CommVault for DPaaS and Zerto for DRaaS.Your responsibilities over time as you improve knowledge will include assisting with the day-to-day operation of the environment, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance to ensure smooth operations. You will also assist the Cloud Team with managing the underlying infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking equipment. You will get hands on in our two data centres and get to rack/stack/maintain a significant amount the infrastructure that underpins the environment.We don't expect the successful applicant to know it all and understand that learning new technologies can take time. What is key is a technical mindset and willingness to learn and get your hands dirty.
