Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to develop and implement quality assurance policies, conduct audits, and monitor performance against standards.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations meet regulatory and accreditation standards and support a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and service excellence.
* Develop and implement systems that support regulatory compliance, accreditation, and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with legislative and accreditation standards, including Aged Care Quality Standards
* Advise on risk and quality matters
* Oversight of the improvement program, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of improvement initiatives
* Manage feedback, complaints, compliments, and suggestions to enhance service delivery
* Represent us in internal and external forums related to quality and risk
* Build strong working relationships across departments to support integrated governance
* Consult with clinical, operational, administrative, and consumer engagement teams to ensure policies are practical and fit-for-purpose
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant qualification in a related field, such as nursing, allied health, health administration, or quality assurance
* Proven experience in quality coordination or a similar role within the healthcare or home care sector
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and frameworks, such as the Aged Care Quality Standards, the Aged Care Act, Support at Home and community based aged care programs HCP, CHSP, respite
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
