Senior Mental Health Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate leader to head up our mental health team. In this role, you will bring your own experience of recovery to shape an innovative mental health service, guiding a passionate team to deliver meaningful support to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing leadership and coaching to a team of peer workers
* Satisfying reporting requirements
* Providing intentional peer support
* Supporting engagement with clinical services
Requirements:
* Personal experience of mental illness or psychological distress and recovery
* Leadership experience in the health or community services sector
* Cert IV/Diploma in Peer Work, Mental Health or related field
* Two years' experience as a Peer worker
* National Police Check and Working with Children Check
* NDIS Workers Screening check
* Evidence of right to work in Australia and 100 points of identification
