We have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the electrical industry looking to work as a Trades Assistant and support our qualified tradespeople.

What You Will Be Doing
* Assist on‐site electricians and supervisors with installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and data cabling systems across commercial building sites and premises in Perth.
* Support the reading and preparation of tools, equipment, and materials for electrical tasks.
* Help with site setup, clean‐up, and general labour duties to support project progress.
* Follow safety protocols and relevant codes and standards while supporting electrical works.
* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other site personnel.
* Maintain inventory and ensure tools and materials are accounted for and correctly booked out.
* Attend shifts as per roster requirements in the Perth area.
* Night shifts are also part of the role for which you will receive shift work penalties.
* Perform other duties as directed by supervisors to support the electrical team.
What You Need
* Australian Citizenship or full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Previous experience working in the electrical industry or in a similar trades assistant/support role.
* Understanding of basic electrical tools and materials.
* Ability to work safely and follow instructions carefully.
* Physical fitness and ability to climb ladders and perform manual labour tasks.
* Willingness to work overtime and shift work when required.
* Current Australian driver's licence preferred but not mandatory.
* Own vehicle preferred but not mandatory.
* Proficient in English communication.
* Ability to pass a national police and medical check.
