About the role:
Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant - Trades & Labour to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in sourcing and placing top talent across a range of trades and labour roles and building long-lasting relationships with local business.
What you'll be doing:
Proactively source and screen high-quality candidates for a variety of trades and labour roles
Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from mapping out potential clients, connecting with passive candidates to post placement after care
Build and maintain strong relationships with local business
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruitment processes and practices
What we're looking for:
Experience as a Recruitment Consultant in an agency environment or a Business Development background, ideally within the trades and labour industry
Demonstrated ability to source, screen, and place high-calibre candidates
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and candidates
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset
Familiarity with relevant recruitment and HR software systems
