We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed‐term, full‐time and part‐time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Founded in 2019, Ridge View Secondary College is a state‐of‐the‐art independent public school located 45 km south of Perth in the suburb of Baldivis. With Stage 2 upgrades completed in 2023, the college now hosts 1,450 students and offers performing arts facilities, a commercial kitchen and additional specialised rooms.
The Role
The Cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge/Senior Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. These include maintaining carpets and hard‐floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as dusting and rubbish removal.
Vacation cleaning duties involve stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure‐cleaning verandas.
Cleaners must report faults, maintenance issues and incidents to the designated supervisor, ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
Suitable applicants display sound interpersonal skills, effective communication, and enjoy working within an inclusive team environment.
