Key ResponsibilitiesSupport residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence.Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident's plan of care.Assist the residents with their personal care and hygiene needs whilst encouraging their independenceAbout YouCertificate III in individual support, or equivalent recognised qualification (Essential)Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain (Essential)Ability to engage with residents and experience in dementia supportEffective interpersonal communication; both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to prioritise workloadsDemonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience with the aged person and their needsDemonstrated ability to provide holistic careDemonstrated respect for residents' privacy, dignity and self esteemCommitment to continuous quality improvementWorking knowledge of WH&S and Infection ControlFor further information please contact Lisa Rossi, Home Support Officer on **************Why work for Calvary?
