ABOUT THE ROLE
The position reports into the Strategic Procurement and Contracts Manager and is responsible for the Management of a Contract Management system for all Council contracts, across various categories from pre-award, post-award, and completion.
To provide authoritative advice to Council’s project managers and subject matter experts on contract administration and contract management issues and ensure Council’s contract management activities minimise risk and maximise value for Council and the ratepayers of the City of Liverpool.

ABOUT YOU
The desired candidate will be highly motivated and a strategic thinker, providing advisory services to our diverse internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to lead contract implementation and supplier performance management projects. You will have extensive experience in managing high volume priorities, contracts knowledge of the NSW Government procurement policies and procedures.
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
7. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in law or other discipline directly relevant to contract administration, and substantial years of relevant work experience in a senior Contract Administration role.
8. Extensive experience in the preparation, administration, and management of tender and contract documents.
9. Extensive experience in the assessment and resolution of contractual disputes.
10. Extensive experience in stakeholder management, including the development and implementation of effective and innovative contract administration/management strategies which align with organisational strategic goals.
11. Extensive experience in the development, review and implementation of contract management and procurement policies, practices, and procedures.
12. Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement initiatives resulting in measurable organisation-wide improvements.
13. Drivers C License
