A key position reporting into the Financial Controller within the Global Financial Services (GFS) division. The primary responsibility of the Finance Manager is to oversee and provide quality assurance on month-end close and reconciliation activities and manage a small team of Accountants.

About you:
* Postgraduate qualifications of CA/CPA
* Leadership experience within a corporate accounting function
* Recent involvement in ERP implementation
Any of the following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
* Experience in a Finance function within a project accounting, manufacturing and/or multi-currency environment
* S/4 HANA experience
* Relevant Management/Leadership training and/or qualifications

Special Requirements:

Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide oversight, problem-solving and backup assistance throughout month-end close and reporting
* Manage a small team of accountants including all aspects of staff recruitment, reward and recognition, workload management, performance management, and career development
* Develop and maintain financial models as required to assess accruals, perform cost allocations and gain assurance on resulting contract assets and liabilities (including hedge accounting)
* Analyse and sign-off balance sheet reconciliations performed within the Accounting and Transaction Processing teams
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing policies, processes and compliance obligations
* Support compliance, statutory and internal audit activities
* Liaise with the corporate tax function as necessary to enable capture and analysis of data for Business Activity Statements, corporate tax returns and FBT returns
* Develop and maintain associated policies, procedures and user guides
