The Role
Working closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef, you'll support the day‐to‐day running of the pastry kitchen. You'll guide the team, shape the offering, and ensure every plate that leaves the pass feels considered and complete.
What You'll Do
* Lead service across all pastry outlets, from breakfast to evening dining
* Support menu development with a focus on seasonality and local influence
* Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across every dish
* Train, mentor, and inspire junior chefs
* Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisation
* Uphold food safety and hygiene standards with precision
Qualifications
What You Bring
* Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* A refined approach to pastry—technique‐driven, detail‐oriented, and creative
* A natural leader who builds calm, focused teams
* Strong understanding of modern dessert trends and classic foundations
* The ability to move with service while keeping standards high
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
* Must already have full and ongoing working rights for Australia*
