A leading Data & Analytics Professional Services consultancy is looking for a Senior level Microsoft Power BI Consultant on contract for their practice.

The role
You will be working exclusively on high level long term projects within the Sydney market and will utilise the Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies specifically Power BI. You will be a key member of the team assisting with the growth of the Microsoft Practice and will need to have strong client liaison skills as well as a commercial awareness related to client account development.
The skills needed
The ideal candidate for this true technical consulting role will have some or all of the following experience:
* Power BI experience
* Microsoft Platform knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, the Microsoft Data cloud stack and on prem Microsoft BI technologies
* Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Databricks is always a huge advantage
* Data modelling experience
* Ideally previous Professional services experience with niche Data consultancies
* Previous on prem SSIS, SSAS (tabular and modular) and SSRS, DAX & Power BI experience
* High level client liaison skills
* Documentation (business focused, technology focused and project focused)
