Job Description
Aid in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in compliance with relevant international standards. This includes assisting in the development and execution of Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plans, Weld Procedures, and other project-specific documentation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving accreditation processes and ensuring ongoing compliance with ASME and ISO systems. They will also monitor and raise concerns regarding quality issues in production, supporting corrective and preventive actions (NCR process). Additionally, they will manage and participate in internal and external quality audits, as well as liaise with clients and auditors regarding quality requirements and compliance.
This position requires a strong understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO, ASME, and CC3. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant certifications highly regarded: AS Certificate 10, AS Welding Supervisor, IIW IWI-E/IWI-S, CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector
* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Quality Engineering (desirable)
* 5+ years' experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment
* Internal and external auditing experience/qualifications
