The Role:
You'll work directly with the Directors, take ownership of the finance function end-to-end, and have the autonomy to improve systems, streamline processes and shape how the business operates.
* Full ownership of the month end process & financial close process (for Aus. & NZ entities)
* Ensure the delivery of accurate, actionable and digestible financial reports to present to the leadership team
* Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions (signing off and review)
* Ensure accurate cashflow tracking (weekly, monthly, annually)
* Drive the budgeting & forecasting process (quarterly & annually)
* Preparation of monthly management reports, and delivery of commentary to leadership & external stakeholders.
* Compliance & statutory reporting - (BAS, PAYG, FBT)
* End to end payroll (circa 15 employees)
* Management of fixed assets
About you:
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
* CA/CPA qualifications (preferred)
* Strong financial reporting knowledge, & ability to consolidate results
* Experience in driving budgeting & forecasting activities
* Passion for systems improvement, & an eye for streamlining/optimising aspects of your role
* Natural relationship builder, who enjoys managing external & internal relationships
* Comfortable working in a project centric environment (preferred)
