About the Role
The role of the Indigenous Accounts Manager is to facilitate and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to gain meaningful and sustainable employment. In this role you will work with employers across South Australia, in both metropolitan and regional areas, to secure opportunities through your marketing and business development efforts and support jobseekers into paid employment. You will also lead and support important projects and pre employment programs and work closely with employers to develop those and assist in building the skills and confidence of customers.. You will work with other teams at Workskil Australia, including our site staff and employer engagement teams to directly benefit our customers. You will support employers establish and develop culturally safe workplaces and their own cultural competency.
Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.

14. Able to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, while respecting traditional culture and values

16. Collaborative interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships.
17. Ability to have a yarn with customers to assess, match and refer to appropriate job opportunities and talk them up directly to employers.
18. Ability to work hard and achieve your targets to work to clearly defined KPIs.
19. Able to use a computer (Word, Outlook, Excel) and have a good typing speed.
20. Able to show strong administration skills and experience with data entry.
21. Understands the importance for attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
22. Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence valid in South Australia.
23. Highly regarded: Previous experience in the employment services, customer service, retail, hospitality, call centre industry or similar.
