About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform day-to-day maintenance activities to minimise downtime
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies
* Conduct preventative maintenance tasks
* Accurately record completed work in the Maintenance Management System
* Complete scheduled work orders on time and communicate effectively
* Maintain equipment in a safe and operational condition
* Work collaboratively with production and quality teams
* Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and quality standards
* Follow all WHS requirements, company policies, and procedures
* Use PPE and attend all required safety and skills trainingSupport continuous improvement and safety initiatives
About You
You are a proactive and reliable maintenance professional with strong technical and problem-solving skills. You thrive in a team environment and are committed to safety and quality.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment (preferred)
* Strong preventative maintenance and fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of production equipment and plant hygiene standards
* Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Stainless Steel TIG Welding experience
* Disconnect/Reconnect Licence

* 100% completion of planned preventative maintenance
* Strong contribution to Production OEE and equipment reliability
* Full compliance with WHS and company procedures
* Immediate response to WHS issues
