Our client is a long-established accounting firm located in Bundall, Gold Coast, known for its old-fashioned values, personalised service and modern, practical solutions. With a strong reputation in the community and a steadily growing business, the firm is dedicated to building long-term client relationships whilst providing a supportive and collaborative workplace.
They are now seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. In this role, you will manage the full range of bookkeeping functions across a diverse portfolio of clients, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations and the preparation of BAS and IAS statements. You will also maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with relevant standards and work closely with clients to provide ongoing support and resolve queries at the same time assisting accountants with reporting and deliverables.
To be successful in this position, you must have at least five years' bookkeeping experience (public practice preferred but not essential). Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero or MYOB, excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
