Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Specimen Collector, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect blood and non-blood specimens with precision and attention to detail.
* Maintain accurate records for every patient and specimen.
* Ensure timely delivery of documentation and preparation of specimens for transport and testing.
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills with high empathy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously and travel to multiple clinics.
* Valid Driver's license and willingness to obtain Working with Children's Check.
* Australian citizenship, permanent residence, New Zealand citizenship, or valid visa with work rights.
* Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement.
