Seeking a Town Planner to assess development applications and provide zoning advice in Broken Hill.
Your role
Responsibilities
* Assessing development applications and providing zoning, development, and land use advice.
* Reporting directly to the Manager Planning and Development.
* Participating efficiently in the Development Application process.
* Focusing on the needs of applicants, owners, and the community.
* Writing complex reports for management and stakeholders.
About you
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, or Urban and Regional Planning.
* Knowledge in development assessment and relevant legislation.
* Ability to communicate and manage various stakeholders and projects.
* A 'can do' attitude and commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: $103,400.00 - $115,508.00.
* Generous Award Conditions including 5 weeks annual leave.
