As a Senior Product Designer within our Zx team, you'll play a key role in shaping the next evolution of digital insurance experiences. This is a greenfield opportunity—combining the agility and innovation of a start‑up with the backing of a global enterprise. You'll collaborate with empowered product teams to reimagine how insurance can deliver value, delight, and simplicity for our customers, all while contributing to Zurich's 2030 vision of being a product‑led, AI‑first insurer.
You'll take a human‑centred, insight‑driven approach to digital product design. You'll work closely with product and engineering to deliver high‑impact outcomes, helping to make Zx a platform for reimagining the insurance industry and setting the benchmark for digital customer experiences in Australia.
You will also be responsible for the following:
* Designing user‑centric digital and AI‑powered products end‑to‑end, from discovery and concepting through to delivery.
* Collaborating with Product Owners and cross‑functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and feature design aligned to Zurich's 2030 vision.
* Leading and conducting user research, journey mapping, and service blueprint development to uncover insights and define opportunities.
* Creating prototypes of varying levels of fidelity to test and iterate product concepts, features and user experiences.
* Facilitating design workshops and stakeholder engagement to drive innovative solutions and buy‑in.
* Conducting rapid experiments and pilots to validate and de‑risk your designs.
* Defining and tracking KPIs and metrics to measure success, using data to continuously improve design outcomes.

We're seeking a creative, adaptable designer who thrives in ambiguity and fast‑paced environments. You're passionate about new technologies and digital trends, especially AI, and excited by the opportunity to challenge norms and help shape the future of insurance.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
* 5–10 years' experience in CX, Strategic Design, Service Design, UX, or Digital Product Design roles.
* Proven track record of delivering impactful digital experiences and products, ideally in partnership with product and engineering teams.
* Strong working knowledge of end‑to‑end design processes, from research and ideation to execution and measurement.
* Experience leading user research and building empathy with end users to inform design decisions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and facilitate workshops.
* Experience working in start‑up or venture‑building environments highly regarded; financial services or insurance experience a plus, but not required.
